Agent Provocateur have launched their debut jewellery collection for Autumn/Winter 10 as well as their highly anticipated Betty Sue campaign featuring Kirsty Hume.

The jewellery collection celebrates iconic female protagonists and effortlessly and elegantly complements the newly announced AW10 lingerie line.

Dark Fairytale
Dark Fairytale is inspired by the shocking undertones of Hans Christian Anderson’s fantastical fairytales and the mystery evoked in Pedersen and Frolich’s iconic illustrations. The dark wood comes alive engulfing Snow White as she innocently explores this new environment. Layer upon layer of delicate 18ct gold chains are enchanting when adorned with thorns, subtly glistening by day, barbed after dark.

The Shackle collection is inspired by the intricate workmanship of harness-makers at the root of heritage designers. An 18ct horse-shoe clasp and a fine gold chain give a beautiful accent to these bold pieces.

Harem Nights

Autumn Winter 2010 Betty Sue represents the strength, beauty and empowerment that ultimately defines the Agent Provocateur woman. The two minute glimpse into this erotically charged, cinematic world is the creation of Johan Renck for RSA Films. With is compassionate understanding of luxury in a contemporary world, Renck injects humour and sexuality into the campaign video, stating: ‘I enjoy knickers. They are a glorious garment. We all do the most we can to be as close to knickers as possible.’

Agent Provocateur’s Creative Director, Sarah Shotton, explains the casting of Kirsty Hume as Betty Sue: ‘Kirsty became a top model in the 1990’s. She represents our perfect woman, a woman with a family that oozes unbelievable intelligence, sensuality, personality and confidence. She has a film noir, feline quality to her that I felt had a brilliant synergy with Agent Provocateur.’
