7thingsmedia’s Founder and Managing Director Chris Bishop has been shortlisted to win The Drum Marketing Award for Marketer of the Year.

The award was open to individuals nationwide who have made a notable impact in UK marketing for longer than three years. Bishop shares the shortlist with Glaswegian PR specialist Gillian McCormack.

Starting 7thingsmedia – a performance-based digital agency with offices in London and New York – at the age of 26, Bishop’s company has quickly evolved from affiliate managers to digital marketing specialists, overseeing campaigns across the online marketing mix for a range of top clients.

Bishop himself was recently named in the Vogue Online Fashion 100 – a list of fashion’s most powerful in the UK for his work with Ted Baker, Agent Provocateur, and particularly Liberty of London.

The personal award caps a fantastic March for the 7thingsmedia which has been nominated for eight gongs at the Performance Marketing Awards, including a chance to retain their Best Agency title from 2011.
