Country Manager (US)


With the aim of maximising services to our clients and prospects, the Country Manager will provide a strategic approach to how we service all our clients and drive new business to support the expansion of 7thingsmedia in the USA.

The Country Manager has a responsibility to understand the digital communications landscape alongside the broader commercial landscape and should be able to consider client and agency issues at a strategic level.

Core responsibilities
• Day-to-day management of the US office
• ‘Raise the game’ of 7thingsmedia’s offering, identifying gaps and making strategic recommendations around our offering
• Maintain and develop highest standards of client relations
• Assisting the Managing Director to forecast and delivering agency P&L
• Increase revenue from existing clients by developing key accounts
• Responsible for developing new business pipeline
• Identifying and securing meetings with budget-holders within prospect clients
• Becoming a ‘voice’ for 7thingsmedia with regards to leading Trade PR, media and presenting at Marketing Events

Candidate requirements
• Self-starter
• Full understanding of the digital marketplace: 5+ years hands-on experience
• A talent for people management as well as excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of growing and scaling a digital agency
• Ability to pro-actively drive new business and sell the services of a new start up digital agency
• Exemplary client service skills, with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships

Pay and Conditions
Reporting to:
Managing Director (UK)
Direct Reports: N/A
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours
Holiday entitlement: 25 days
Based: Chicago, IL (TBC)
