7thingsmedia are looking for an experienced Account Director to join our account management team, working across a portfolio of brands such as USC, Ted Baker, Gio Goi, Agent Provocateur and Secret Sales. This role is ideal for a candidate currently in employment at an Affiliate Network.
Role – Account Director
Reporting to – Commercial Director
Direct Reports – Currently 3 – Junior Account Manager, Senior Account Executive and Account Executive.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire & direct the current Account Team to passionately understand digital marketing & execute positive campaigns.
- Drive client performance
- Build out the affiliate account team growth & aims based on a profitable roadmap
- Set up, lead & manage new potential channels for 7thingsmedia
- Become the leader for best practice within the agency
- Lead team HR including development, training & hiring plans
Candidate Requirements
- Educated to a degree level
- Have a firm understanding of affiliate marketing
- Understanding of the different online marketing channels
- Proven team management and leadership experience
- Extensive strategic client management experience
- Proven ability to build strong relationships at a senior level
- Demonstrable experience of performance-based marketing
- High level of commercial awareness
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Positive outlook and proven ability to handle pressure
